October 4, 2006 I have generated a web of gipfel-referenced pictures. This is somewhat similiar to the display of geotagged pictures on google maps, but here the pictures serve as picture and map at the same time:
You can start by clicking on the above screenshot. If you move the mouse over the picture, you will see where other images are hidden. The html/css stuff is taken from http://evan.nixsys.bz/note/ and only works with firefox or konqueror (IE will not work). The images were taken by me and Peter Seiderer. The process to generate such a web of pictures is fully automatic. You just need to geo-reference the pictures with gipfel. August 11, 2006 gipfel-0.1.3 released - this release adds image stitching functionality! You can now generate panorama images from images that have been referenced with gipfel. This release also contains a couple of bugfixes. July 17, 2006 flpsed-0.4.3 and flpsed-0.3.8 released. These versions fix some problems in postscript parsing code and make flpsed work with more documents. April 25, 2006 flpsed-0.4.2 released. November 14, 2004 I have released flpsed-0.3.1 which contains a number of bug fixes and allows for more exact text positioning using the arrow keys.
